Metro Atlanta Weekend Races: Aug 21-22

There are lots of races in metro Atlanta this weekend and the weather appears to be cooling off a bit. So that means there’s no excuse not to find a race near you and get out there are go for a run!

  • Free to Breathe Atlanta 5K: Atlanta, Aug 21 at 8:30 A.M. 100% of the net proceeds from this event will benefit the National Lung Cancer Partnership’s research, education and awareness programs. For more information or to register online, click here. Online registration closes tonight.
  • Kudzu Clipper 5K and Family Fun Run:  Atlanta, Aug 21 at 8:00 A.M.The Kudzu Clipper will raise funds to send children with diabetes to summer camp. For more information, click here.
  • Bookin’ it for the Friends of the Library 5K: Cartersville, Aug 21 at 8:00 A.M. For more information, click here.
  • Music on the Mountain 5K: Kennesaw, Aug 21 at 6:30 P.M.  Net proceeds will benefit the Kennesaw Mountain Marching Band Program who will be performing at various locations around the course. Seriously, how can you pass up hearing a marching band while you run?! For more information, click here.
  • Summer Harvest Gallop 5K: Canton, Aug 22 at 7:30 A.M. For more information of to register online, click here.
