GT Women’s Basketball vs. Maryland‏ in support of Team Tyler Foundation

February 2, 2011

Tech_Maryland_Womens_BasketballThe Georgia Tech Women’s Basketball program will be accepting donations for the Team Tyler Foundation at their Thursday, February 3, game vs. Maryland. Donations will be accepted at the Gate 1 Wreckin’ Crew booth. The Team Tyler Foundation was founded to bring awareness to leukemia and to help children fighting it. Team Tyler was started in honor of Maryland head coach Brenda Frese’s two-year old son, Tyler Thomas, who was diagnosed with leukemia in September 2010. This game is also a celebration of National Girls and Women in Sports Day, which we mentioned in an earlier post.

Please be advised for the game against Maryland a large crowd is anticipated and parking in the Alexander Memorial Coliseum may reach capacity so please arrive early. Additional parking will be available at O’Keefe Gymnasium or Peters Parking Deck. Please click here for more parking information.
