Check out the races taking place around metro Atlanta this weekend. Lace up and get moving!

  • River Run for Hope 5K, 10K, 1 mile fun run: St. Andrew Catholic Church, Roswell, GA. Saturday, June 1, 2012 at 7:30 a.m. This is a family, children, pet-friendly early morning run/walk along the scenic Chattahoochee River.  Proceeds benefit The Ghana Friendship Project and Helping Hands Medical Mission.   • Starlight Stride 5K Run/Walk: Piedmont Park, Atlanta, GA. Saturday, June 2, 2012, at 8:30 p.m. Features glow in the dark t-shirts, luminaries lighting the path and fun party favors.  Proceeds benefit the Atlanta Childrens Shelter. For more information and to register, click here.
  • 5K Walk to End Violence Against Women and Girls:  Piedmont Park, Atlanta, GA. Saturday, June 4, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. Proceeds benefit the  US National Committee (USNC) for UN Women, an organization that supports the mission of UN Women and social, political, and economic equality for women and girls around the world.
